The Missions Team at FCC is made up of a group of dedicated individuals that care and support our Mission partners both local and overseas. The label of "sending team" may also be a great way to describe the actions of this group as they seek out ways to enable our FCC family to both live on mission daily and regularly take part in a Serve Team trip.

FCC's Global focus is on three areas where God is equipping us to make the biggest impact for His kingdom. Those Core Focus's are:

  • Human Slavery
  • Marginalized People Groups
  • Church Planting.

Missions Partners:

Caring for our neighbors

As the Missions Team cares for our FCC Missions partners and family members outside of the church, the Benevolence Team cares for the family members inside the church family as well as our local community. This team regularly connects a family with the assistance and the wisdom from a mentor when that family is in need.

We partner with:

Nehemiah Project

Several years ago, a couple of individuals sat down and asked the question “What does benevolence look like long term?” “What does restoring a person, holistically, look like in a long term relationship?” Out of that became the Nehemiah Project.

We read in scripture that Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days.
The Nehemiah Project seeks to partner with an FCC family to rebuild their spiritual, financial, physical and relational walls in 52 weeks. Over the course of one year, an FCC family is surrounded by four mentors that teach and guide them to rebuild their spiritual, financial, physical and relational walls.

Each of the walls the Nehemiah Project restores and makes the adjoining walls stronger. By restoring the four walls, we are able to bring a family to a much healthier place of life than where they were when they first start the Nehemiah Project. At this point, we are able to walk with one family through the twelve month process.
