Something To Listen To:
Something to Read:
The Passion Part 1
Something to see/ponder about:
Google an image of the Last Supper. Knowing that it probably didn’t look this way when it was happening, draw from your own imagination what it might have looked like.
Something To Watch:
That’s my King
Something To Journal:
Do you know Him? Have you ever been in a position like Peter? Where you found yourself either denying or hiding what you believed about Jesus to avoid something or someone? Take some time to reflect and write about what underlying things are behind when we act this way.
Something Else To Watch:
Something To Pray:
As you have read about Jesus in the garden, take some time to pray about the things in your life that would like God to deal with.
Something To Do:
Perhaps this would be a good place for you to consider offering forgiveness to someone who has done you wrong, or perhaps seeking forgiveness from someone you have wronged.
Take some time to walk through the following. It's an experience that is best taken alone.
Read: Isaiah 53:3-9
Pray: The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we also have forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Read: Mark 9:30-32
Watch: Good Friday
Pray: John 17:20-26
The High Priestly Prayer Pt. 3
Watch: Were You There?
Journal: You were there. You saw it all. Write about your
experience in light of what you
would have seen and heard.
Watch: It is Finished
Do this: Spend 20 minutes in silence and contemplate all that was done for you.
Watch This: 3 Days, 3 Nights
Read This :Matthew 27:57-66
Watch This: Everything
You are somewhere in between Friday and Sunday, if you were a follower of Jesus, what would you be thinking, doing, feeling right now?
It is difficult to be in a place of waiting. Especially if you are not sure what you are waiting for. Pray that in those times that you might be able to wait well.
Go to be assured that Jesus is stronger than death and the grave and tomorrow you best celebrate with all your might be cause the tomb is empty. He has risen.
Are you trying to make sense out of things that don't make sense? Are you trying to navigate a "New Normal?" While so much around us has changed over the last few weeks, some things remain the same. God is still good, the world needs a savior, and the tomb is still empty! Join us this Sunday online as we come together (virtually) to remember these fundamental truths.
