While this year has been filled with change and disruptions, there are certain things that remain true. We are still striving to have a heart of compassion. We are still striving to stay faithful in prayer and study. We are still striving to provide authentic worship opportunities. We are still striving to be generous. FCC has held a year-end offering for as long as most of us can remember. Sometimes that money goes to needs in our community and around the world, and sometimes it goes toward large projects in the church. This year will be one for the church.

Imagine trying to do anything in your home with 20 year old technology. How frustrating it would be to do schoolwork and work virtually if we all still had dial-up modem. Imagine the annoying sound of connecting as your computer screeched its way to the internet each day, and the length of time it would take just to open a file.

The equipment we use to protect the church from fire and smoke uses technology that is over 20 years old. It was installed when we built the building and it is time for an update to ensure that the equipment we use is able to stand guard for us when we are not present.

Updating this equipment will also allow us much-needed options to improve our internet connectivity in the future, allowing us to provide a better experience for people watching our live streams, connecting with us online and the ability to use WIFI in the building.

The cost to update this equipment, along with some additional updates will be around $20,000.

We know some of you have given in the past and will struggle with that this year as the result of income loss. If there are any concerns for handling the financial burden of the holidays, please reach out to us to help. Others of you have had a very solid financial year.  Your generosity to this project will help those who cannot help this year know that we are a family that works together in hard times.

The goal will be to raise this $20,000 before the end of the year, so please prayerfully consider how you can contribute to keeping our building safe and protected.

Here are some ways you can contribute. You can contact the church at 262-857-4743 for more details.
